The Market House Museum is happy to provide tours for school field trips and civic groups. Simply call and let our staff set up your unforgettable experience!
We do require advance notice of at least one week for preparation of groups consisting of twenty or more, but you can call us anytime during operating hours to begin setting up your group’s tour!
Remember!
Telephone 270-443-7759 Wednesday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm, to arrange a group tour.
Please be aware that the Museum is closed Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, and on major holidays, so plan accordingly!
The Museum is closed from December 15th til the first Saturday in March each year as well. We look forward to serving your group with pleasure!
Group Tours
Tours are available for students third grade and older, with the teacher, plus one adult for every ten students*.
We can also design custom tours to be of the greatest interest possible to your civic or church group. Simply contact the museum by telephone to confirm and arrange the date desired.
Scavenger Hunts
Scavenger tours are also available for adult groups as well as older school groups (grades 7 through high school).
Please ask about them when you telephone. We look forward to your contacting us with your specific needs.
Don't Forget the Gift Shop!
We have a small but lovely gift shop that will enable you to take home a remembrance of your visit to the Market House Museum. It is of interest to both children and adults and includes souvenirs, history books, games, tee shirts, and more.
